लखनऊ में रहने वाले रमेश चंद्रा बेसिक शिक्षा विभाग में विकास खंड पूरे डलई में खंड शिक्षा अधिकारी के पद पर कार्यरत हैं। बुधवार की दोपहर करीब 12 बजे वह अपनी कार से लखनऊ से बाराबंकी आ रहे थे। आलापुर के पास तेज रफ्तार कार सड़क किनारे खड़ी डीसीएम से टकरा गई। घटना खण्ड शिक्षा अधिकारी के झपकी लेने से होना बताया जा रहा है। कार का अगला हिस्सा बुरी तरह क्षतिग्रस्त हो गया। कार में लगा बैलून खुलने से खण्ड शिक्षा अधिकारी बाल-बाल बच गए। अंदरूनी आई चोटों को लेकर उन्हें विभाग के कर्मचारियों ने उन्हें देवा रोड़ स्थित एक निजी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया। जहां डाक्टरों ने उनकी हालत खतरे से बाहर बताया।
